Starting a business is not an one day action. It takes planning and executing. Once all set up you need to maintain it. You need constant customer flow to make money and grow from time to time. It is not easy to grow a customer base, because there is competition outthere. The essence of doing business is to keep and grow loyal customer base. To get there you need to promote through discounts, TV ads, Radio ads, Newspaper ads and Social media for example. Those are not the only methods. You can give free samples. Also promote through supporting the local soccer club or the hockey team.

As the times change we will move on. Take chinese restaurants for example. They make money through word-of-mouth ads. The positive image you can create through using lettertypes that is appealing to your market segment. This will bring recognizion. If you keep your letterypes of your brand's logo relevant to your products, then this will give an image to your customers what your products are. If you sell orange juice. No doubt you can not go around using yellow or orange lettertypes. If you sell strawberry ice cream, then it is almost mandatory to use pink letters.
Use relevant background colours for your brand's logo.
Once you design a logo for your products keep the background colours relevant. It is like dressing in matching gear. If your cap is navy blue then you can dress in a baby blue Nike Air Max's. It is like noticing a hip hop head or a punk fan by the way they dress. It is always being part of a culture. Create an ambience around your brand. Using relevant colours that will get your brand more recognizion. At the end of the day you want your brand grow like Coca-Cola or Nike instead of failing to gain recognizion.

Since monopoly is forbidden, there is no idea is original. Anything you want to do is done before. Since the competition is outthere, ask your self why they are so successful. Is it the brand name, loyal customer base or devoted employees?. Be like Jesus Christ to get followers around the world and create new versions of the products there were on the market. Create an indoctrine with slogans and designs which are appealing to the market segment you serve. Think big to grow in due time. To maintain a status you need to dress your brand with relevant colours and lettertypes. Go places where other business are trying to go and went. Find a way through the market to get a larger piece of the market. Only if you set your mind to it, the dream will become reality.
