The story of running a business starts with an idea. With an quality product you are only half of your way. You can do business with people if they trust you. To gain trust you need to show your expertise. It is also a fact that you need to be determined to get from A to B. There are lots of aspects involved running a business. Such as passion, long term focus, accounting, promotion and so on and so on. If you look at the fact how you can gain trust to do business, then we can be on the half of our way to gain that well deserved buck.

Why is customers' trust so important and what exactly is it?

The customers have become more savvy that ever. They look at the products and compare it well considering the price and quality. It is not only the price that matters nowadays. Look at people who drove a Lexus. They buy now a Tesla because of the status symbol. The way the trends work amongst sub-groups and cults is changing. You can not afford to expand the customer service and quality to gain more profits. 

The only way you can gain customers' trust is to offer reliable products and when they are in a hurry for whatever reason to obtain the products you sell, then give them the opportunity to buy. Gaining your business credibility and gaining customers' trust is the way to make the your targeted market label you as an expert in the field you are in. 

How to gain customers' trust?

Tell your story vivid as a business: You need to communicate with your market segment in way that you convey a message that your targted market understand. Customers want evidence that you got the solution. It is not only hearing about your brand's guts and glory but the aspects like customer service and quality. You need to reach the right audience in a manner which appeals to them. 

Give customers a honest and transparent information: It might a major let down if a customer come to your clothing store for a blue Nike Air Max and they have to leave with a Fila basketball shoes. In case you can not help the customer out with what this person were looking for, Then you got a problem. First of all you can ask the customer if it is okay to place an order for the blue Nike Air Max. If not then you have greater problem. How can you help this customer out without letting this person down? Give him more options if available. Such as other colour Nike Air Max'.

Know the segment you are going to market to: It is a wise thing to conduct a market research. It used to sound like a gimmick back in the days, but nowadays it is more of a needed aspect. Because the customers do not want one-seiz-fits-all products. But tailor-made approach depending on the product. They do not want to be another number just like their government name. They want the human touch to their sales pitch you have to offer as a sales person. It is needed to get to know the ideal prospects' demographics. This way you will know your customers' needs well.

Offer a trustworthy customer service: The market is not waiting for any slow customer service. You need to offer chatbox (Artificial Intelligence) e-mail, phone and video-call customer service. You might not care as a business to help the customers out quick. But the customers want a fast service. They are need and they have paid that fair price for the products you sold. Reliable and fast customer service is one of the points to gain trust.
